Airband Lands $12.5M

Dallas, Texas-based Airband Communications has raised $12.5M in a Series C funding, the company said Tuesday. The round was led by M/C Venture Partners, a new investor in the firm. Also participating were existing investors Sevin Rosen Funds, Crescendo Ventures, Key Venture Partners, and Dolphin Equity Partners. Airband is a provider of fixed wireless services geared toward the business market. The firm said that the funding will go towards broadening its integrated voice and data services. Salvatore Tirabassi of M/C Venture Partners joins the company's board as part of the funding. More information »
