AIQUEOUS Finds $250K

Austin-based AIQUEOUS, a developer of software for water and electric utilities and municipalities, has raised $250,000 in a seed funding round, the company announced this morning. The funding was led by Agora Ventures. AIQUEOUS, which was founded by Jonathan Kleinman and Dan Merchant, said it will use the funding to grow its sales, marketing, and product development. The company says it currently has a team of 10 people, and plans to double its office space in June. AIQUEOUS says its software provides web portal, customer relationship management (CRM), project management, budget tracking, natural resource impact, and employee collaboration tools to those utilities.
