Affinegy Ties With Anti-Virus Firm AVG

Austin-based Affinegy, a provider of home networking software for the broadband market, has inked a partnership with anti-virus firm AVG Technologies. AVG said today that it has begun working with Affinegy to integrate its Internet Security with Affinegy's products. The firms said the integration will give real-time protection from malicious attacks, checks of link security, and wireless security management, among other features. Business details on the deal were not announced.
