Active Power Raises $14M In PIPE

Austin, Texas-based Active Power said Tuesday that it has raised $14M in a PIPE. The firm said that the funding would go towards growing its business. According to the company. RBC Capital was the placement agent for the offering. Investors in the firm were not disclosed. Active Power is a provider of flywheel-based uninterruptible power systems.
