Active Power Names Technical Services VP

Austin-based Active Power said today that it has appointed Uwe Schrader-Hausmann as Vice President of Technical Services. The firm said that Schrader-Hausman was previously managing director of the firm's operations in Germany. Scrader-Hausmann has also served at Piller Power Systems BmbH. Schrader-Hausman will oversee the firm's customer facing technical services, including applications engineering, project management, project implementation and customer service. Active Power is a manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and other power systems.
