Active Power Gets $8M Order

Austin-based Active Power, a manufacturer of backup power supply systems, reported today that it has received an $8M order. The firm said the order, for a containerized infrastructure product, came from one of its strategic IT partners and is the largest single order the company has received. Name of the customer was not disclosed.
