ACS Renews Contract With California City

Affiliated Computer Services Inc., a provider of business-process outsourcing and information technology consulting services, revealed Tuesday that it has received a renewed IT services contract from the city of Riverside, Calif. ACS said the extended contract will last up to three years and could be worth as much as $17 million if all options are exercised. The contract includes two one-year renewal clauses, the Dallas-based company explained. ACS added that it employs 57 full-time staffers to provide Riverside with project management, help desk, desktop, network, application, operation, systems and geographic information services.
