ACS Opens New IT Facility in Monterrey, Mexico

Dallas-based business process outsourcing firm Affiliated Computer Services Inc. revealed Wednesday that it has opened a new office and information technology center in the Monterrey, Mexico, suburb of Apodaca. ACS said the new facility complements its existing presence in Monterrey and elsewhere in Mexico. ACS said it has already hired some 280 employees to staff the new location, which will employ 480 IT professionals once at full capacity. Including operations in Mexico City, Juarez and Hermosillo, ACS employs more than 4,600 people throughout Mexico. Worldwide, ACS boasts a staff of 62,000 scattered throughout more than 100 countries.
