ACS Adds Federal Services

Affiliated Computer Services Inc. revealed today that it aims to offer its solutions suite to the federal market beginning Nov. 24. The Dallas-based business process outsourcing and information technology consulting firm said it is already the largest managed services provider to state, county and local governments. The company claims to currently serve more than 1,700 government entities. It also said it processes more than $7.5 billion in beneficiary payments through its electronic payment and stored value card services. ACS noted that its federal solutions suite will include mailroom and administrative services, customer care, finance and accounting and claims administration.
