Abilene Christian Plans iPad Student Newspaper

Abilene-based Abilene Christian University has its eyes on Apple's much heralded tablet PC, the Apple iPad, and says it already has plans to publish a student newspaper on the platform. The school said it will be the first student newspaper to publish on the iPad, in an effort being run by ACU's Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. Apple's iPad was announced Wednesday in a flurry of media coverage. ACU did not say how far along in the effort it is, but did say it has created an "iPad Task Force" focused on the digital publishing platform.
