Anue Systems Acquired For $145M

Austin-based Anue Sytsems has been acquired by a fellow networking test equipment maker, in a deal worth $145M. Ixia, a California-based developer of IP and wireless network test equipment and software, said it will use the acquisition to bolster its access to the network visibility market. Anue's chairman is Hemi Thaker, and the firm's CEO was Alex Pepe. Ixia said that Anue had revenues of $40.5M in 2011, and revenues of $47.6M for the 12 months ended March 31, 2012. MHT Partners and Vinson & Elkins advised Anue Systems in the deal, with Stifel Nicolaus Weisel acting as financial advisor and Bryan Cave LLP as legal advisors to Ixia.
