Zenoss Adds $25M In Series C Round

Austin-based Zenoss, which develops IT management software used to manage physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure, said Tuesday that it has raised $25M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Summit Partners, and also included Grotech Ventures, Intersouth Partners and Boulder Ventures. The firm said the new round brings its total raised to $45M. Zenoss, which is led by Bill Karpovich, devleops software used to manage their IT networks and devices; the firm provides both commercial and open source versions of its tools. Michael Medici of Summit Partners joins the company with the funding. Zenoss was originally started in Maryland, and opened up an office in Austin in 2008. More information »
