Xplore Technologies Reports Big Order

Austin-based ruggedized tablet maker Xplore Technologies reported a big win this morning, saying that it had received a purchase order for more than half a million dollars for its tablets, from a U.S. railroad transportation company. The company said that the railroad company is using its Bobcat tablets for use in railroad yard operations. The company explained the device will be used at rail car check-in points. Xplore's tablet runs either Windows 7 or 8.1.
