Wizard101 Plans Expansion To Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau

Plano-based KingIsle Entertainment, the developer of the massively multiplayer online game Wizard101, said it is planning to expand the title to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, through a deal with a Taiwanese company. The firm said it has signed an agreement with Taiwan Taomee Technology Co., Ltd., to launch its titles in those countries in 2012. Terms of that deal was not disclosed. KingIsle said it also has a deal, announced earlier this summer, with Taomee Holdings LImited, to launch Wizard101 in China. The company said it now has approximately 13 million unique visitors per month using its online site, Wizard101.com.
