VIPorbit Finds $1M More For Contact Management Software

Dallas-based VIPorbit Software, a developer of contact management software for the iPad and desktop, said it has raised $1M in additional angel funding for the company. The company said the funding was led by co-founder Max J. Pucher and Dr. Harry R. Jacobson, Managing Partner at TriStar Technology Ventures and Vice Chancellor Emeritus at Vanderbilt University. VIPorbit says it has now raised a total of $3.5M in funding. The investment also included the company's nine prior angel investors. VIPorbit's CEO is Mike Muhney, who the company said previously co-invented ACT! The company offers its software on the iPad, iPhone, and Mac. More information »
