Unwired Nation Ties With Rackspace

Austin-based Unwired Nation, a provider of mobile app infrastructure, said this morning that it has tied with Rackspace, via that firm's partner program. Unwired Nation, which is headed by Stacey Zuniga, said the link will help its software-as-a-service customers deliver native mobile applications. Exact details of the relationship were not announced. Unwired Nation develops a platform aimed at helping mobile app develops scale out their deployments, including porting Android, iPhone, Windows Phone, and other platforms and UIs. Unwired Nation has the backing of a number of local angels, including Crossroads' Dale Quisenberry, Eric Simone (BazaarVoice), and Irl Nathan (Caringo).
