Tyler Technologies Wins Columbus, Ohio

Dallas-based Tyler Technologies reported a win today in Columbus, Ohio, where it will replace that city's aging financial management system with Microsoft Dynamics AX. Tyler Technologies said the deal was worth approximately $5M, including software licenses, implementation, hosting services, and support. Microsoft Dynamics AX is the software suite aimed at the public sector, which Microsoft co-developed with Tyler Technologies. Tyler Technologies said that Columbus was running a fifteen year old financial management system, which was no longer being maintained by its provider.
