Thru Adds Sims To Board

Thru, a publisher of secure messaging and file transfer software-as-a-service applications, reported Monday that it has appointed James Sims to its board of directors. In addition to joining Thru's board as a director, Thru noted, Sims chairs four other boards—GEN3 Partners Inc., Airgain Inc., American EPS Inc. and Groxis Inc. Thru said he served as chief executive officer at GEN3 for eight years until September 2007. Before that, he was CEO and president of Cambridge Technology Partners for more than eight years. He was also director of Enterasys Networks Inc. from June 2004 to March 2005. Founded in 2002, Thru is headquartered in Irving, Texas.
