Tekmos Aims Technology At Preventing Copycat Semiconductors

Austin-based mixed signal semiconductor developer Tekmos, a developer of mixed signal ASIC technology, says it is aiming its technology for use in preventing rampant copying of Internet-of-Things products, via incorporation of its mixed signal technology. The company--which develops a stacked die process which combines both analog and digital designs in a single chip--said its UNIFY ASIC makes it more difficult for the competition to copy a customer's product designs.
