Tabbedout Names New CEO

Austin-based Tabbedout, the developer of mobile payment and bar tab management software, said this morning that it has named Paul Fiore as its new Chief Executive Officer. Fiore has previously served at such firms as Green Dot, XP Systems, and AT&T Employees Federal Credit Union. Fiore was also co-founder and CEO of credit union banking software firm Digital Insight, which was purchased by Intuit in 2007 for $1.35 billion. According to the firm's board, the move will help propel the firm through its next stages of growth. Cofounder and former CEO Rick Orr becomes EVP of the firm with the appointment.
