Tabbedout Links With POS Software Developer

Austin-based Tabbedout, the developer of mobile, bar and restaurant tab management software, has tied its mobile software with point-of-sale and hospitality software vendor Digital Dining. According to the two companies, the link will allow users of Digital Dining's POS software to offer up mobile payments using Tabbedout's smartphone apps. Financial details between the firms were not disclosed. Tabbedout develops software for the iPhone and Android which allows users to run a bar tab and track that tab all via an app, and later settle that tab using a credit or debit card. TabbedOut recently handed the reigns of the firm over to Paul Fiore, former CEO and co-founder of banking software firm Digital Insight; the firm was founded by Rick Orr and David Lemley.
