Stream Gets Legal Win Over Solavei

Dallas-based Stream, a developer of an online energy shopping and purchase marketplace, said it has scored a win in court, winning $346,000 in legal fees over a lawsuit filed by Solavei. Stream said the award was given by Judge Craig Smith of the 192nd District Court, as a result of the determination that a Solavei lawsuit was "filed in bad faith". Solavei had sued Stream in January of 2015 over misappropriation of trade secrets involving Stream's launch into the mobile phone market.
