Stream Data Centers, which is an operator and developer of data centers, says it has a plan for another data center in San Antonio. Stream said it has acquired 9.6 acres of land for a new data center in the Westover Hills Business Park in northwest San Antonio. The company said the data center will be its ninth in Texas, and will be 75,840 square feet with 2.25 MW of load power, with expansion ability to 6.75MW. Stream says its new data center is nearby to similar data centers operated by Microsoft, Chevron, Lowe's Corporation, Valero, Frost Bank, Christus Health and others.
