Springbox Acquired By Viewpoint

Austin, Texas-based interactive marketing firm Springbox has been acquired, according to New York-based Viewpoint Corporation. Viewpoint said that it will pay $5.5M in a combination of stock and cash, plus earnout for the firm. Springbox provides web marketing services to AMD, Callaway, Dell, Disney, Hoovers, Lance Armstrong, and Siemens. Viewpoint said that Springbox is expected to generate $6.0M in gross revenue in calendar year 2007; the deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
