SolarWinds Buys ipMonitor

Austin, Texas-based SolarWinds has acquired ipMonitor, a developer of network monitoring software based in Ottawa, Canada, the company said this morning. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SolarWinds, which develops network management software, said that it will use the technology assets from the acquisition to expand its existing products.
