SolarWinds Buys TriGeo

Austin-based SolarWinds, the developer of IT management software run by Kevin Thompson, said today that it has agreed to acquire TriGeo, a developer of log and event management software. The firm said it will pay $35M in cash for TriGeo. SolarWinds said the acquisition would help add log and event management product offerings to its portfolio.
