SolarWinds Adds VoIP Support

Austin, Texas-based SolarWinds, a provider of network management tools, said today that it has introduced a new VoIP module to its product line. The firm's new Orion VoIP Monitor allows customers to monitor call quality and other network visibility into voice-over-IP network traffic. SolarWinds said that the new VoIP module will be included in the latest version of its Orion Network Performance Monitor product. SolarWinds is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Bain Capital, and Insight Venture Partners.
