Skybox Datacenters Expands In Houston

Dallas-based data center developer Skybox Datacenters said this morning that it has started on construction of a new, data center in Houston. The company said it is building out a 86,960-square foot data center in Katy, specifically to target the energy business. The company said it expects to complete construction on the new data center in November, and will initially offer four, private 10,000 square foot data halls on the 20 acre campus. The company said the new facility, Skybox Houston One, will have 12.5 megawatts of critical load. The company said it specifically set up in Houston to address the "Energy Corridor" market.
