Sipera Systems Gets $6.7M

Richardson-based Sipera Systems has raised $6.74M in a venture funding round, according to a regulatory filing from the firm last month. No details on the funding have been announced by the company. The firm has previously raised capital from Austin Ventures, Duchossois Technology Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and STAR Ventures. According to the filing, the fundraising is part of a $10M round. Sipera is a developer of Voice-over-IP and unified communications security products. The funding was disclosed on August 28th. More information »
