Silicon Labs Sues MaxLinear

Austin-based Silicon Labs, the developer of analog and mixed signal integrated circuits, has sued MaxLinear, a competing developer of semiconductors. According to Silicon Labs, it filed a patent infringement lawsuit against MaxLinear in the Southern District of California, San Diego Division. Silicon Labs said it now has litigation against MaxLinear covering twenty of its patents, covering RF and mixed-signal design. Silicon Labs is seeking an injunction stopping the sale of all infringing MaxLinear products.
