Si2 Names Engineering VP

The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2), the semiconductor industry standards group which makes its home in Austin, has hired on a new Vice President of Engineering. According to the company, it has named John Ellis to the position, to manage the group's engineering staff. Ellis was most recently VP of Technology at SEMI, the trade association for the semiconductor industry, where he had been for over a decade. Ellis previously also served at Sandia National Labs.
