Saxon Innovations Hires VP

Intellectual property licensing firm Saxon Innovations LLC reported Thursday that it has hired Anthony Grillo as senior vice president of licensing. Saxon said Grillo hails from IPVALUE Management Inc., where he served as vice president of licensing. Before that, Saxon noted, Grillo was vice president of intellectual property for Agere Systems. Prior to Agere, Grillo handled patent prosecution and licensing matters for Lucent Technologies. Headquartered in Tyler, Texas, Saxon Innovations manages a patent portfolio that consists of more than 180 U.S. patents covering technology that originated from Advanced Micro Devices and its spin off, Legerity.
