RigNet Links With Intelsat

Houston-based Rignet, the provider of communications services and hardware to the oil and gas industry, has linked up with satellite services provider Intelsat in a new set of contracts. According to Intelsat, it will provide new capacity to Rignet, to support the communications needs of its oil and gas customers. Rignet helps those companies communicate with their remote drilling, completion, and production sites. Financial terms of the new deal between the companies was not announced.
