RigNet Buys OilCamp AS

Houston, Texas-based RigNet has acquired a Norwegian provider of communication services for the oil industry, OilCamp AS. Terms were not disclosed. RigNet provides IP-based voice, data, and managed services for the oil and gas industry. The firm is backed by Altira Group, Sanders Morris Harris, and HitecVision.
