Rackspace Signs Customer

San Antonio-based Rackspace has signed on The SCOOTER Store, a provider of scooters and chairs for people with limited mobility, as a customer, the firm said Monday. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Rackspace said it will host thescooterstore.com, an online information site for shopping for products from The SCOOTER Store. The SCOOTER Store is using Rackspace's Enterprise Microsoft hosting offering on Windows Server 2003.
