Rackspace Adds Schlitterbahn, Others In Hybrid Cloud Win

San Antonio-based Rackspace has signed up local resort operator Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts, as a customer of its hybrid cloud services, along with four other customers, the company said Monday. Rackspace said that Schlitterbahn, Coastal.com, Rodan and Fields, Behance, and AfterCollege.com have all adopted the company's hybrid cloud services, the company's combined cloud- and on-premise cloud hosting services. Financial impact of the various customer wins was not announced. Hybrid cloud services are popular with companies who are looking for additional computing resources and ability to scale their systems, but still want or need to maintain control of their data in-house.
