RF Monolithics Teams With Wireless Networking Firm

Dallas-based RF Monolithics announced this morning that it is in a strategic alliance with Dust Networks, a provider of wireless sensor networking products. According to the firm, it will collaborate with Dust using embedded systems from Dust in OEM modules, gateways, and other products. RF Monolithics said that the products will be sold into applications that include asset management, environmental monitoring, condition-based maintenance, and building automation. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
