Pyxis Adds Two To Board

Pyxis Technology Inc., a developer of electronic design automation software, reported Tuesday that it has added two strategic advisors to its board of directors. Specifically, Pyxis said Vista Venture Partners' Jim Hogan and KLA-Tencor’s Ed Charrier are joining current board advisor and member Jim Solomon, who founded Cadence Design Systems. As Vista's general manager, Hogan has more than three decades of experience in the semiconductor, EDA and venture capital fields. Charrier, who is president and general manager of KLA-Tencor's Process Control Information Division, boasts more than 20 years of software development and management experience, plus some 14 years in the semiconductor industry. Pyxis Technology is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
