PowerByProxi Sets Up US Headquarters In Austin

Wireless power systems developer PowerbyProxi said today that it has opened up a new office and U.S. headquarters in Austin, citing the city's technology talent in the move. According to PowerByProxi, the new move will help it expand its global presence and U.S. footprint. PowerbyProxi also said it has named Robert McCOrmick as its Vice President of Product Management, to help set up the Austin location. McCormick was previously at Intel, Motorola, and Freescale. The company called Austin an "ideal location" to access great tech talent, including engineering, program management, and operations. PowerByProxi is from Auckland, New Zealand.
