Pervasive Signs Dental Software Provider

Agile application developer Pervasive Software Inc. reported Tuesday that Dentrix Dental Systems, a publisher of dental practice management software, has implemented Pervasive’s Data Integrator into its DENTRIX and EasyDental titles. Pervasive said that its Data Integrator will help Dentrix's software convert patient data from legacy systems to the Dentrix platform. Dentrix, Pervasive noted, is also using Pervasive’s Data Profiler to assess and validate front-end customer data. The financial impact of the deal was not reported. Established in 1994, Pervasive Software is based in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1985, Dentrix Dental Systems is a subsidiary of Henry Schein Inc. and is headquartered in American Fork, Utah.
