PLDA Opens Austin Design Center

Austin, Texas-based PLDA, a provider of IP cores for the semiconductor industry, said today that it has launched a new Austin design center. The firm said that the move is part of a strategy to enhance the company's technical and executive presence in the North American market. PLDA develops cores for PCI Express, PCI-X, and PCI. The new center will be directed by Callan Carpenter, the firm's VP of Business Development and North American Operations.
