PHNS Lands 10-year Contract from Health Care Firm

PHNS, a Dallas-based provider of information technology services for hospitals and other health care providers, revealed Tuesday that it has signed Legacy Hospital Partners Inc. as a long-term client. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Privately held and headquartered in Plano, Legacy Hospital Partners owns and operates acute care hospitals in small cities and select urban markets throughout the United States. According to PHNS, it will begin providing IT and application implementation services to the Portneuf Medical Center, a 250-bed acute care hospital in Pocatello, Idaho, that is jointly owned by Legacy Hospital Partners and the Portneuf Health Care Foundation Inc. PHNS said its agreement with Legacy Hospital Partners is for 10 years.
