Newgistics Bolsters Board With Retailing Vets

Austin-based e-commerce provider Newgistics said this morning that it has bolstered its board of directors. The company said it added Andrea Weiss of Retail Consulting and Robert Rosenblatt, most recently of interim president of Ideeli.com, to its board. Weiss has been President of Guess?, and also served as an executive for Limited Brands and Ann Taylor, in addition to serving on the boards of such companies as Chico's, Pep Boys, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. and Nutrisystem, plus GSI Commerce. Rosenblatt was also group president and COO of Tommy Hilfiger, in addition to serving in executive roles at HSN and Bloomingdale's.
