National Instruments Bolsters Board

Austin-based National Instruments, which develops scientific instrumentation and measurement systems, said late Tuesday afternoon that it has named Dr. Gerhard Gettweis to its board of directors. Fettweis is a professor at the Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden). NI called Gettweis one of the "key innovators in the wireless industry". He holds the position of Vodafone Chair Professor at TU Dresden.
