Microtune Wins Chinese Set Top Box Manufacturer

Plano-based Microtune, a developer of radio frequency semiconductors, said today that it has been selected by Chinese set-top box manufacturer Coshop Electronics Co. Ltd.. Microtune said that Coship will use its MicroTuner MT2066 TV tuner chip in a DVB-C cable set-top box and high speed cable modem. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed.
