Microtune COO Retires

Plano-based Microtune, a developer of RF semiconductors, said Wednesday that the firm's Chief Operating Officer, Albert (Bud) Taddiken, has resigned, and is planning to retire. Microtune said that Taddiken will be replaced by Barry F. Koch, who will be promoted to Executive Vice President. Taddiken has been at Microtune since the company started in 1996. According to the company, Taddiken will advise the firm until September. Koch has been co-General Manger of the firm's broadband business, and has held a series of VP roles at the firm.
