Microsoft Planning Vast Data Center In San Antonio
Software giant Microsoft is planning to build a gigantic new data center in Texas, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal, which would be one of the largest data centers in the country. According to the report, Microsoft purchase 158 acres of land in West San Antonio, with plans to initially build 1.2 million to 1.3 million square feet of data center at the location. The land for the deal comes from the Texas Research and Technology Foundation (TRTF).
