MedSynergies Acquired By Optum

Irving, Texas-based MedSynergies, the provider of physician practice management and other associated services to physicans, has been acquired by Minnestora-based Optum, the two said this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Optum said that MedSynergies will help complement the company's existing services. MedSynergies was founded in 1996, and is privately held. The company provides physician practice management, revenue management, physician referral management and other business services to physician groups.
