Luminex Buys GenturaDx

Austin-based >Luminex, the developer of molecular diagnostics tools, said today that it has acquired GenturaDx, a molecular diagnostics company focusing on nuleic acid testing. Luminex said it will pay $50M in cash, plus and undisclosed amount of earn out based on futre milestones and product revenue. GenturaDx is developing automated, real-time, PCR systems used in DNA testing.
