Longhorn Fans Get Apple Passbook Support Via StubHub

University of Texas Longhorns fans can now store their tickets in the new, Apple Passbook digital wallet software in iOS 6--if they buy their tickets from StubHub, that is. StubHub said today that Longhorn athletic events tickets purchased through the ticket marketplace site can now be stored into Passbook, letting fans use their iPHone or iPod touch as their ticket into events. StubHub said Passbook integration will begin at the University of Texas at the first home football game, which is this weekend (October 20th). Passbook is Apple's new digital wallet software for the iPhone, which alows users to store things like movie and event tickets, retail loyalty cards, and other information on their device.
